After a long time, rain - 2026-07-16

It's raining a ton in Seattle. Thunderstorms and everything.

I'm working on finalizing the resume section of this site. Other than that, I've been working on an automation project using Selenium for my team at work. Front end automation testing is great, but more needs to be said about the economy in tests; Selenium testing uses a lot of resources.

Tahoma, baby! - 2026-06-29

I'm working on adding a few more pages, specifically, a page for zines and my polaroids. I'm creating digital zines using Canva and my goal is to make the PDFs available on my website.

I'm also reading two books, although slowly. The first one is the book Nuestra parte de noche by Mariana Enriquez, and a biography on my favorite photographer, Vivian Maier.

I'm also reorganizing my entire apartment.

A couple of new cameras have come into my life, namely, the Canon G11 and a Canon VIXIA HFG30, which is a camcorder. It's been fun making little home videos and shooting with a digicam (a zine on the latter coming soon).

Oh, and I changed the entire typeface of my site to Tahoma because I live close to her.

Abstractions and Automation - 2026-06-09

I'm currently abstracting the logic of this site so it's modular rather than singular.

I'm also working on an end-to-end frontend automation test suite using Selenium.

I'm hyperfixating on photographing with Polaroids.

I also have to work on an illustration for the Seattle magazine Disposable Parts

There's a Cafe Con Camaras meetup June 14th that's being organized around community. The purpose is to connect West Seattle photographers with those in the greater Seattle area.

What else? Well, Nintendo is going to be releasing a remade version of one of the best video games of all time: Zelda Ocarina of Time. Did you know I have an Ocarina?
